My activities during three holy days

 

Hello everyone,

            I am Agnes Pulcheria Tanala. I am an English Education Student of Nusa Nipa University and now I am in second semester. Today I will tell you about Three Holy Days in my hometown especially in our church, the church of St. Maria Tak Bernoda Lela.

Beforehand I will explain what the Three Holy Days. For Catholics, three days to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, the Death of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the Catholic church, the holy day is called Holy Thursday, Great Friday and Holy Saturday. The Climax is at the celebration of Easter.

Holy Thursday, mass will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 4 p.m. My Cousin and I were assigned to bring offerings. We wear customary clothes. Not many people attended because of the rain. Good Friday Celebration, mass was held on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 3 p.m. There were quite a few people attending, so that many people did not get a seat. I went to church with my Mother and my Father. Everyone lined up to honor the cross of Jesus. Holy Saturday, mass will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 4 p.m. The people who attended were quite a lot even thought the rain was quite heavy. I went to church with my Mother and my Father. We were a little late so had to sit in the church yard tent. Easter Day, masses are held on April, 4, 2021, at 7 a.m at the church. But because my mom and I wake up at 5 .m so we chose mass in the hospital chapel at 6 a.m. Meanwhile my Father went to muss at church at 7 a.m. That morning it rained pretty hard. However, from Holy Thursday to Easter mass it went well.
